Would you like to become a Mentor in Residence?

We’ve all benefitted from mentoring at some stage, seeking support on specifics that others can help you with.  Our Mentors in Residence play a key role in this degree by sharing generously with our TE’s of their knowledge, skills, lived experience and wisdom.
We want our Mentors in Residence to reflect the diversity of our TE’s, to bring a range of perspectives, and to have the capacity to challenge and question assumptions and biases, and to develop the capacity for our TE’s to think and walk in other people’s shoes.
If you think you would like to offer your skills and experience, and are able to offer your time, we in return offer a vibrant and energetic environment where you too will learn new things.

Does your business or organisation have a project or challenge you’d like help with?

Our talented TE’s (and digital natives), can bring fresh perspectives, insights and ways of working on projects or challenges that your business or organisation may have.  We will work with you to ensure that we co-create a defined and SMART project or challenge, planned to deliver value to both you and our TE’s, and an invaluable learning opportunity for all involved.
If you’ve got something you’d like help delivering, then please do get in touch.

Would your pupils benefit from a TE visit?

UWE is committed to preparing young people at schools and colleges across Bristol and South Gloucestershire for progressing to university and into work, and Future Quest is already delivering in 75 schools and colleges across this region.
We in Team Entrepreneurship are passionate about this commitment to widening access.  We would love to reach out to the next generation of entrepreneurs, particularly those for whom entrepreneurship and enterprise may feel a distant goal.  Anyone can become an entrepreneur, so if your school or college would like a visit from our TE’s to inspire entrepreneurial passions and ambitions, we’d love to hear from you.

Hackathon details

The UWE Business Team Entrepreneurship program has partnered with SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK to present a 48-hour challenge for students. Focused on addressing specific recycling challenges, teams will tackle difficult-to-recycle items such as desk furniture, carpets, and lino. These items contribute to environmental issues, and the goal is to foster responsibility and curb material wastage through inventive thinking. Teams will conduct research, propose innovative solutions, and present their ideas for a chance to collaborate with SUEZ on developing impactful sustainability initiatives.
